MCSE (Microsoft Certified System Engineer)
About MCSE
Microsoft® Certified Systems Engineer, MCSE, is one of the professional certifications that measure technical expertise in various areas relating to Microsoft® software products. Specifically, the Microsoft® Certified Systems Engineer designs, installs, supports and troubleshoots information systems. Someone with an MCSE designation is a network administrator, a support technician, or an operating system expert. Microsoft® defines MCSE as follows: "The Microsoft® Certified Systems Engineer is qualified to effectively plan, implement, maintain and support information systems with the Microsoft® Windows® operating system and the Microsoft® BackOffice® integrated family of server software."

This course of instruction prepares individuals for positions as network administrators, systems administrators, or network engineers managing Microsoft Windows networks.

Course Structure

Windows 2003 Track
Core Exams (6 Exams Required)
1) Exam 70–290: Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment
2) Exam 70–291: Implementing, Managing, and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure
3) Exam 70-293: Planning and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure
4) Exam 70-294: Planning, Implementing, and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Active Directory Infrastructure
5) Exam 70–270: Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft Windows® XP Professional or Exam 70-2101: Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional
6) Exam 70-2972, 3: Designing a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Active Directory and Network Infrastructure or Exam 70-2982, 3: Designing Security for a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network

Elective Exams (1 Exam Required)

Assesment
At the end of the course the candidate will be given a written and practical examination along with the course work. After submission of the course work, the candidate will be awarded the certificate of course completion from Regal International College.
Benefits
Microsoft® Certified Systems Engineers (MCSE) on Microsoft® Windows® 2003 are in great demand, and that demand is not being met. Independent industry surveys indicate that there are hundreds of thousands of information technology (IT) positions vacant at companies with at least 100 employees and an estimated 1.3 million new jobs being created through 2006. Because in the IT industry there's no such thing as overqualified, adding an MCSE certification to your list of professional qualifications could be a major factor in your career advancement.
After MCSE

You can proceed CCNA, Linux, Unix...even Oracle, etc.. A lot of companies are looking for Cisco certification along with MCSE.
